Westmore Insure Ltd - Winner for the Local Hero Mortgage Awards 2020 - Wales

Westmore Insure has fought off stiff competition from across Wales to be named as a Local Hero Mortgage Awards winner by NatWest Intermediary Solutions. 

The Thornhill based firm, which provides insurance and mortgage advice, pipped a host of other companies from across the country to the post to be crowned with the title.  

The award recognises mortgage firms who have gone the extra mile to put customer needs and their local community at the heart of their firm. 

Steve Western, who established Westmore Insure in 2013, said: “This is a wonderful achievement and is testament to the efforts of all the staff in supporting the local community as well as the exceptional work that Paul and his team put in every day to make sure that our customers are looked after”

NatWest head of intermediary mortgages, Graham Felstead, said: “We are again delighted to have delivered, albeit digitally, our NatWest Local Hero Mortgage Awards initiative, specifically aimed at recognising the hard work and commitment of mortgage adviser firms that have gone above and beyond expectations.

Westmore Insure are delighted to announce their sponsorship of Hopkinstown Cricket Club for yet another season. The club is local to our office and boasts a real community spirit and a beautiful clubhouse and ground. The cricket club supports teams across the board from kids to both male & female teams. Our very own office manager, Rebecca, is Vice Captain of the women's team! We can't wait to see what the season has in store for the club and will be putting a staff team in as usual for the charity day Good luck to all players and staff for this season!

We are delighted to become a corporate supporter of ACM which is a charity for older people living in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend and Merthyr Tydfil. Since 1977, they've been working to get older people the help they want, when they want it. They offer a wide range of information, advice and services to help older people stay living independently for as long as possible. Their work is designed to make life easier and their dedicated staff and volunteer team offer independent and confidential information, advice and support on a variety of issues such as care, legal, health, housing, income and benefits, consumer, leisure, learning and work.
